Yki literally stands for an eagle-owl in Kazakh, representing an ancient Kazakh jewellery but very special one. Like in many traditions adorning used to have the only purpose is to protect its owner. So there was a specific ward called 'yki ayak', which was made from the feathers of eagle-owls and adorned with precious stones. And the most importantly is that the feather must be found so that the ward did well for the one who wore it.
Yki brand represents the unique Kazakh culture and its central idea of harmony with nature. So we use only natural and eco-friendly materials depicting somewhat totem animals of the steppe. So each and every bag is like a fine ward for the owner, satisfying not only aesthetic sensibilities but also bringing more joy, freedom and well-being.
