    N.V. J. Van der Elst is a Belgian family business established in Aalter and currently employing approximately 40 people. Its own-label collection (Marie Méro) is designed, produced, sold, and distributed under the company’s direct management. A part of the company’s turnover is generated by export activities, mainly to the United Kingdom, Ireland and the Netherlands. Marie Méro can be bought at higher-end multi-brand stores.
